HooverTogether is a collaborative resource network dedicated to serving all families and individuals throughout the city of Hoover, Alabama. As a first-of-its-kind resources in our city, HooverTogether collaborates with local schools, government agencies, businesses and community organizations to strengthen connections and provide vital resources to those in need.
Whether you’re looking for educational support, access to health and wellness services, job training or community engagement opportunities, HooverTogether is a one-stop shop to access needed resources. Our goal is to foster a sense of belonging and build a network where every resident can find the resources they need, when they need them.
The idea for HooverTogether came out of need first identified by local school officials and concerned parents. During a time of crisis, many families and individuals have felt disconnected from essential services or were unaware of support systems available. HooverTogether fills the gap by providing a centralized resource hub for our community. The project was brought to Leadership Hoover, where it was undertaken and created by the following Board members: Alan West, Ann Marie Harvey, Caroline Hollingsworth, Miguel Vilchez, Tony Halsey and Tracy True Dismukes.
