Birmingham Vet Center - Hoover
Located at 400 Emery Drive, Suite 200, Hoover, AL 35244, the Birmingham Vet Center offers confidential counseling services for veterans, service members and their families. They provide support for PTSD, military sexual trauma (MST) and other service-related issues. Group sessions include:

Band of Warriors: Post-Vietnam PTSD group meeting on the first and third Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

Genesis Group: Female veteran group meeting virtually each week from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.

Wings Across Alabama – Veteran Peer Support Groups
Wings Across Alabama offers peer-led mental health support groups for veterans:

Veterans Support Group: Meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM via Zoom.

Female Veterans Support Group: Meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM via Zoom.
